ONE’s 2018 Charity Donation

ONE is dedicated to providing the best insurance for you but we are also dedicated to providing for those who need it most. We believe that the ONE community also has a big heart and wants to be a positive factor which really creates positive change. Therefore this year ONE Insurance has chosen Médecins Sans Frontières, more commonly known in English as Doctors without Borders, as our annual charity because their dedicated vision and goals are similar to ONE Insurance.

The vision of MSF is to provide medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare. Their teams are made up of tens of thousands of health professionals, logistic and administrative staff – most of them hired locally. Their actions are guided by medical ethics and the principles of impartiality, independence and neutrality.

We at ONE believe that good causes especially have to supported in tough times. We also hold the idea that an insurance exists to provide help and care for those in moments of need.

With ONE we are on a mission. A mission that is no less than: Reinventing insurance. At ONE we want to be an insurer without the negative connotations, an insurance that isn’t set up to feed the money making machine or an insurance where annual premiums are converted into personal bonuses.

The founder of ONE, Stephan Ommerborn, said that real change puts a smile on his face. Being able to make a sincere and substantial change which is able to leave a positive impact in the world, something which MSF does like no other.

This is also why we are so happy to help you, our customers to feel protected to the best of our ability, but also to enable you to give back the feeling of protection and assistance.

ONE is proud to announce that we have donated over €25,000 to MSF and their worthy cause and call upon others to find resources, time and effort to give to charity when possible. If you wish, visit the MSF website and to find out more.
